The following
is a
list of commonly asked questions.
If your question is not addressed
below, please don't hesitate to
contact us directly at 408-842-5466
(LIMO) or by email at
Are you licensed
and insured through
the state of
California?
Yes,
we are licensed
through the
California Public
Utilities
Commission, and our
TCP #23345 can be
verified at any time
at
www.cpuc.ca.gov.
We also meet or
exceed insurance
requirements for all
of our vehicles,
with $5,000,000 in
coverage |
Is alcohol allowed in
the vehicles?
Yes, you may drink
alcohol or other
beverages in the
larger vehicles (not
in the sedans),
provided everyone is
over 21.
Complimentary
champagne is
provided for
charters and you are
welcome to bring
your own drinks.
|
Is
smoking allowed in
the vehicles?
No, smoking is not
allowed in any of
our vehicles. Your
driver will be happy
to find a safe place
to park so you can
smoke outside the
vehicle. |
How far in advance
do we need to book
our reservation?
For airport
transfers, we can
usually
accommodate within
24-hour notice, but
if you can give a
longer notice, it
would be better.
For charters, our
vehicles can book
out several months
in advance for
weekends and special
occasions, so the
farther out you can
book your
reservation, you
have a better chance
of getting the
vehicle you want. |
Is a deposit
required?
A non-refundable 1/3
deposit is required
when booking a
vehicle. This
allows us to hold
the date for you and
not book the vehicle
for someone else.
If you pay by credit
card, we will run
the card for the
deposit at the time
of the booking. The
balance will be due
and charged 24 hours
before the time of
the charter. |
Why do we have to
pay for time when we
are not using the
vehicle?
When you have
reserved the vehicle
for several hours,
both the car and the
driver cannot be
used for any other
customers. Even if
we drop you off and
will be picking you
up later, we will
stay in the
vicinity, so we can
pick you up within
minutes of when you
are ready to leave.
|
Why can’t we rent
the vehicle for only
1 hour?
Even though you
would only be using
the vehicle for 1
hour, it takes much
longer than that to
prepare the vehicle
and stock the
vehicle for your
needs. Our drivers
have a checklist
they must go through
before every
charter, and are
responsible for
cleaning the vehicle
and getting it ready
for the next
customer. |
Should we compare
rates from different
limousine companies?
We suggest you do
compare our rates to
other companies in
the area, just make
sure you are quoted
for all charges you
will incur. Our
rates include
everything: driver,
fuel, taxes, airport
fees, and gratuity.
Other companies may
quote you a base
price, then add all
these other fees
separately, adding
up to much more than
our quoted rates. |
Do we need to tip
the driver after our
charter?
Our quoted rates
include a gratuity
for the driver.
If you were very
satisfied with your
experience, and
received
extraordinary
service from your
driver, an extra
gratuity would be
greatly appreciated. |
Do we have to pay
if our charter goes
overtime because of
something beyond our
control?
If your charter is
delayed due to
circumstances beyond
everyone’s control,
we will not charge
for the extra time
used. |
Can we bring our
own music or movies?
Yes, all our
vehicles are
equipped with CD
Players, and the
larger vehicles have
DVD Players and iPod
connections, which
are controlled by
the passengers. |
